A day after one of the worst seasons in Edmonton Eskimos history mercifully ended, players quietly filed out of the dressing room Sunday, garbage bags over their shoulders, knowing that for some of them it may be the final time theyre in the room. Ben Gedeon Jersey . And its not just the players who leave with doubts. The future of the entire coaching staff, from head man Kavis Reed down, is uncertain after a season that ended 4-14 and included just one win in nine home games. As the players packed their belongings and headed for various locations, many of them could only shake their heads and wonder just what went wrong with a season that began with promise but then hit the skids with an eight-game losing streak. "What went wrong? I have no answer for that," said veteran defensive back T. J. Hill. "Im quite sure there were a lot of things that went wrong a but it was more that things didnt go our way as planned." Reed said if one was to go back game by game "theres a yard here, a couple of seconds there, a penalty here a theres so many minute things that really magnified through the year." They lost five straight games by five points or less but in virtually every late-game critical situation they came up short. "We had chances early in the season to close out games and didnt take advantage of it so that wasnt helpful," said first-year quarterback Mike Reilly who started every game. "We showed we could be productive and we could do some really good things offensively. The consistency is not what it needs to be. For the first year of us all working together, the positives are weve shown that we can do some good stuff." Calling it the hardest season of football hes ever played, Reilly, who led the CFL with 700 rushing yards but was hit more than probably any other quarterback, said one of the positives is that he "never once saw a guy in this room quit." Linebacker J.S. Sherritt, last years best defensive player in the CFL who missed several games this year with a broken thumb, said the season could only be summed up from the players perspective in one word: disappointing. "Obviously its extremely disappointing but you have to learn a lesson from it or its a waste," he said. "You either learn from it and get better or you just fade away. I know in my heart we have the right core people. We have to make changes and get better but I know we have a good team here." The players acknowledge there has to be personnel changes and some of those will be the result of the expansion draft with Ottawa coming back into the league. Reed met with his assistants Sunday morning to begin the post-season analysis of players and in his season-ending meeting with reporters didnt sound overly confident of returning as head coach. "There is no such thing as confidence in this business. What will happen will happen. The one thing Im most proud of is I found a way to quiet the noise to make certain that the locker room remained intact and that the health of this franchise remained at the forefront. There is nothing that Kavis Reed did that Im not proud of. If this is my last year here I believe in the three years Ive been here weve put this franchise back on the track it needs to be and it will enjoy success." He insisted he would not change a thing he did this season in terms of the building process that continued under a first-year quarterback and a rookie general manager, Ed Hervey, who was highly critical of the teams offensive line right from training camp but did little to help improve that unit. Herveys future is also uncertain, as is that of team president Len Rhodes. "There will be deliberations about all coaching staff," said Reed. "We continue to work until someone comes and gets the keys or someone comes and escorts you out the door. Youre going to be judged on Ws and Ls. There isnt going to be that investigation into whether youre a good coach or not, its Ws and Ls. Its as simple as that." Among the few bright spots was the performance of slotback Fred Stamps who, despite missing three games, was the leagues leading receiver with 1,259 yards, the fifth straight year he has surpassed 1,100 yards. Pat Elflein Womens Jersey . Nothing pretty. But this is 1/4 World Cup. Usually plays out this way. Dalvin Cook Vikings Jersey ." Those traits were clear to the 24,071 at Olympic Stadium on Saturday as the Impact dominated the scoring chances but settled for a 2-2 draw with the New York Red Bulls in a battle of still-winless Major League Soccer teams. http://www.vikingsauthoritystore.com/Authentic-Ben-Gedeon-Vikings-Jersey/ . He insists hes not counting. "If youre thinking hits, youre not paying attention to wins," Altuve said Sunday after leading the Houston Astros past the Texas Rangers 3-2. ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Adam Jones knew the home runs would come and they did as the Baltimore Orioles kept up their strong start against Tampa Bay. Jones hit a pair of first-pitch solo homers and Jonathan Schoop launched a tiebreaking, two-run shot that sent the Orioles over the Rays 4-3 on Wednesday night. "Felt good to get the ball out of the infield," said Jones, who entered with just one homer this season. "Youve got to keep swinging, got to stay after it." Schoops drive in the seventh inning off Brandon Gomes (2-2) put the Orioles ahead 4-2. "Its really nice, especially to come through there and to get a W," Schoop said. Jones hit leadoff homers in both the second and fourth off Cesar Ramos. It was his fourth multihomer game. "I just put some good swings on some pitches that I should have driven and I drove them," Jones said. "Thats the rule of thumb. If its right down the middle you might as well hit it." Jones didnt get the chance to face Ramos a third time when Tampa Bay manager Joe Maddon brought in Gomes, who got a fly from the Orioles slugger with two outs in the sixth. "You didnt want to keep pressing your luck right there," Maddon said. "Jones had some good at-bats. I loved Gomes on that part of the batting order." David DeJesus homered for the Rays, who have dropped the first two games of a three-game series and are 0-4 overall against the Orioles this season. Ryan Webb (1-0) went 1 1-3 scoreless innings for the win. Tommy Hunter struggled for the second straight game, pitching the ninth for his 10th save. One day after working out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in a 5-3 win, Hunter again ran into trouble in the ninth. Wil Myers led off with a doublle, moved up on Yunel Escobars one-out single and scored on a single by Ryan Hanigan. Jaleel Johnson Youth Jersey. Ben Zobrist then had a soft lineout and Desmond Jennings lined back to Hunter. "Were winning ballgames and thats the bottom line," Hunter said. "You would like it to go a little smoother. Id liked to have a clean frame, make it nice and easy for everybody, but thats not the way its going right now." DeJesus cut the Rays deficit to 2-1 on a solo homer off Bud Norris in the fifth. DeJesus has three homers in 15 at-bats against the Orioles right-hander. Baltimore catcher Matt Wieters was out of the starting lineup after making a trip earlier in the day to Pensacola to have his sore right elbow examined by Dr. James Andrews. While it was determined that Wieters would avoid the disabled list, he will likely be limited to designated hitter duty for a period of time. Tampa Bay tied it at 2 on a pinch-hit RBI single by Sean Rodriguez during the sixth. Both Norris and Ramos gave up two runs and three hits in 5 2-3 innings. NOTES: Baltimore purchased the contract from Triple-A Norfolk of catcher Caleb Joseph, who went 0 for 3 in his major league debut. ... Baltimore RF Nick Markakis extended his hitting streak to 14 games with a first-inning single. ... Orioles 1B Chris Davis (strained left oblique) ran sprints, threw and hit in an indoor cage. ... Baltimore OF Francisco Pequero (right wrist) is set to start a minor league rehab assignment Friday with Norfolk. ...
